IM Prologue

This picture reflects the prologue of Invisible Man and it shows the author, Ralph Ellison sitting in a cluttered room filled with objects surrounding him. Maybe to create the sense of isolation or trapped in his own world. And the lights above may represent the hope for African Americans or society looking down upon their race and they are just out of reach of the light.
